HQ

The BLAST Premier Fall Showdown series has wrapped up, seeing two teams rise through the brackets to qualify for the Finals event set for a December 12 start. Due to the style of the tournament, there was no direct winner of the Fall Showdown, instead seeing two qualifying teams for the Fall Finals event.

The first team to qualify was FURIA. This team actually entered the BLAST Premier Fall season event as a replacement to 100 Thieves who left the CS:GO scene recently. They managed to secure a spot in the Fall Showdown and even blitzed through their bracket, defeating Team Liquid in the round-of-four, to secure a spot in the finals.

The second qualifying team was Mousesports, who moved through the other bracket equally well. Mouse took on Cloud9 in the round-of-four, defeating them 2-0 and claiming the final spot in the Fall Finals.

The Fall Finals are set to begin on December 12, seeing eight teams compete for a share of $225,000. You can catch the action when it begins in a few weeks, right here.
